Treating Adult Sexual Offenders: Safe Offender Strategies and the Role of Self-Regulation in Sex Offender Treatment

Description:

Safe Offender Strategies (SOS) is a manualized sex offender treatment program emphasizing the importance of emotional, cognitive, interpersonal, and behavioral self-regulation.  Participants in this brief webinar will learn about case conceptualization and treatment implementation using this approach.  Empirical support from pilot research on psychiatric, intellectually/developmentally disabled, and SVP populations will be described.

INSTRUCTIONS TO RECEIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:

1.  Download test questions from Orlando Behavior Health Services at the time you purchase your continuing education credits.
 
To get to the test, you must complete your paypal purchase first.  In the confirmation message, click the option to go back to the vendor site (www.orlandobehaviorhealth.org). The link will take you to a page with the download link for the questions file.  In some browsers, the page will open, and in Google Chrome, the file will load as a link at the bottom of the browser window. Click on that download link to open the questions file.
 
2.  If you have already purchased your continuing education credit, use the link below to access the test;
3.  Answer True or False for each question;
4.  Save the test and your answers in a Word document;
5.  Email your test and answers as an attachment to Orlando Behavior Health Services at orlandobehaviorhealth@gmail.comto Dr. Michael Weinberg;
6.  Include your license type, license number and state;
7.  You must achieve at least 80% in order to receive continuing education credits.  Your certificate will be emailed to you from Orlando Behavior Health Services.
