Illegal Images with Elizabeth Griffin and David Delmonico
November 12, 2013 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Description: Many helping professionals are reporting an increase in the number of clients who use online child sexual abuse images (child pornography). The accessibility and anonymity of the world wide web has contributed to a significant rise in viewing, possessing, receiving, and distributing online child sexual abuse images. For some clients, the use of online child sexual abuse images is an extension of a lifelong pattern of sexual interest in children, while for others the discovery of online sexuality leads to the development of sexually compulsive behavior that crosses legal boundaries. The purpose of this webinar is to help participants understand the legal, ethical, and clinical issues involved with clients who view child sexual abuse images.
